Mary Bergis a Certified Women’s Healthcare Nurse Practitioner with 20 yrs of experience in this field. She is committed to providing each of her patients the compassion, understanding and care they deserve. She is experienced in providing care for: All Contraceptive Needs, Hormone Replacement, (including Bio Identical Hormones), Well Women Exams, Abnormal Bleeding, Pelvic pain, Infections, Prenatal Care and a variety of other office visits. She received her Nursing degree from Mount San Antonio College and her Nurse Practitioner training at UCLA. She started her nursing career as a labor and delivery nurse at San Antonio Community Hospital and Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center 30 yrs ago.
Mary has lived in the local area for over 38 yrs. She now lives in Upland with her husband. She has two children and is the proud grandmother of five. She enjoys any outdoor activity and spending time with her family at their home in Lake Havasu. She enjoys giving back to the community in which she lives. She volunteers at Health Fairs and Screenings in the community and her church. She participates yearly in the “Relay for Life” which supports research in a cure for cancer.
What Mary enjoys most about her job, is being able to counsel and teach her patients about their bodies and the importance of taking care of them. She believes that by listening to her patients and validating their concerns is the cornerstone to providing the quality care they are seeking. This approach has endeared her to many long time patients. She has a passion for Women’s Health issues and belongs to several professional organizations that keep her current in the latest treatment and technologies to assist in providing the best care for her patients.
